What do I authorize Trustly and Merchants to do?

You authorize Trustly, our affiliates and Trustly Merchants to: debit your bank account for the amount of each payment you initiate and confirm, including recurring amounts; credit your bank account for refunds or disbursements; correct any errors if necessary; and inquire about and receive the status of each payment you have authorized.

How do I cancel my ACH authorization?

This authorization will remain in full force and effect until you let Trustly customer service know that you wish to revoke it, by emailing ach.auth@trustly.com. Trustly and Trustly Merchants require five (5) bank days' notice to cancel an authorization.

What happens if a payment is returned due to insufficient funds?

If a debit is returned to Trustly due to insufficient funds, it is your responsibility to fund your bank account so that Trustly can re-process the debit. If the payment returns unpaid, it may be represented to your bank up to 2 times. You authorize Trustly and/or Trustly Merchant and/or its service providers to collect the debt and your State's return item fee, and any applicable costs, by debiting your bank account electronically.

Q: How long does it take for payments to process?

For each payment from you, the amount will be debited from your bank account within 1-2 banking days of Trustly and/or the Trustly Merchant sending the request for processing. For each payment to you, the amount will be credited to your bank account within 1-2 banking days.

By using Trustly’s products and services, you authorize Trustly, its affiliates and its Merchants (as defined in Trustly’s Privacy Policy) the right to debit your bank account. This Authorization includes the right to debit your bank account for any fees owed or other amounts due to the Merchant, Trustly and any Trustly affiliates. This authorization applies to any bank account that you link to Trustly’s products and services. You acknowledge that your authorization is in compliance with any applicable bank debit rules and that your bank account has sufficient funds to allow for a debit. If a debit is returned to Trustly due to insufficient funds, it is your responsibility to fund your bank account so that Trustly can re-process the debit.

You also agree to the following:

I authorize Trustly, its affiliates and Trustly Merchants to:

● debit my bank account for the amount of each payment from me that I initiate and confirm on a Trustly, Trustly affiliate and/or Trustly Merchant site or application, or that Trustly, its affiliates or a Trustly Merchant initiates pursuant to the Trustly Terms of Service or this Authorization, including recurring amounts in ranges I agree to with Trustly, a Trustly affiliate or the Merchant until this Authorization is revoked;

● credit my bank account for the amount of each refund or disbursement to me that I initiate and confirm on the Trustly, Trustly affiliate and/or Trustly Merchant site or application, or that Trustly, a Trustly affiliate and/or a Trustly Merchant initiates pursuant to the Trustly Terms of Service or this Authorization;

● correct any errors, if necessary; and

● inquire about and receive the status of each payment I have authorized pursuant to this Authorization, which status may be deemed “credit information” about me.

You also agree that:

● For each payment from me, the amount will be debited from my bank account within 1-2 banking days of Trustly, the Trustly affiliate and/or the Trustly Merchant sending the request for processing. I authorize Trustly, the Trustly affiliate and/or the Trustly Merchant and/or its service providers to collect the debt and my State's return item fee as set forth at https://www.trustly.com/us/return-fees, and any applicable costs, by debiting my bank account electronically.

● For each payment to me, the amount will be credited to my bank account within 1-2 banking days of Trustly, the Trustly affiliate and/or the Trustly Merchant sending the request for processing.

● This authorization will remain in full force and effect until I let Trustly customer service know that I wish to revoke it by emailing ach.auth@trustly.com. I understand that Trustly, its affiliates and Trustly Merchants require five bank days’ notice to cancel an authorization.

● I understand that Trustly Merchants have expressly authorized their service providers to act as their agents to receive and process payments from or to me on their behalf.

● Some banks may charge a fee to pay from a savings account.
