Why am I receiving an error about insufficient funds when my account shows I have money?

Your available balance is based on your overall bank account funds minus any pending transactions that have not yet completed. To fix this error, try the following:

  • Add more funds to your account.
  • Use a secondary account with the same bank.
  • Sign in with a different financial institution.
  • Wait 1-3 days for the pending transactions to clear.
  • Try a smaller transaction. A suggested deposit message may appear showing an amount that is likely to clear your account without waiting for any pending items to complete.
