Can I revoke consent to share my data with Trustly or any of Trustly's merchants?
We are committed to keeping your information secure and private. You can to revoke Trustly's authorization to share data with your financial institution at anytime by following the steps below.
Please note: This action does not stop payments transactions that are in process. If you have more than one authorization for a bank or merchant, you must revoke each one separately. You will not be able to use Trustly for new transactions until you link your account again.
If your bank lets you manage your connections, you may also revoke access there. If you are waiting for money to be sent to your bank or a merchant, wait until these appear in your account before you revoke access at your bank. If access is revoked, transactions in process, and future requests you enter, may be returned unpaid by your bank, which would require resubmitting them.
To revoke your authorization and stop sharing data, do the following:
- Log into the Consumer Portal.
- Are you a Trustly Remember Me user? Use the Email field to log in.
Note: Trustly Remember Me is currently only available to US-based consumers. - Otherwise, use the Sign in with bank option to select your bank and enter your banking credentials.
- Are you a Trustly Remember Me user? Use the Email field to log in.
- Click Transactions in the left menu.
- In the Transaction details section, click the Transaction Type menu, select Authorization, and then click Apply filter.
- Locate the Authorization you want to cancel, and then click the arrow at the end of the transaction row to open the details.
- Click Cancel this authorization.
- Click Yes to cancel the authorization.
- Click Close to complete the request.
An email is automatically sent to support to cancel your authorization. - Repeat as needed if you have additional authorizations listed.
